GFXL Black Earth  is high in organic matter and an expert blend of premium Black Peat Loam and Worm Castings. Your clay or mineral soil needs this organic addition to optimize the growth potential of you plants. It is the premier amendment to any soil. This engineered soil has a dark black colour with a high concentration of nutrients designed for maximum growth potential without the addition of unwanted chemicals. It improves soil structure, drainage/aeration along with moisture and fertilizer retention and can enrich sandy or dry soils. This premier soil blend is excellent for use in flower beds, vegetable gardens and top dressing for your lawn.

It is recommended that you blend in our Black Earth into your native mineral soil at a rate of 20 – 30%, and if possible, cultivated into your garden to a depth of up to 9”. This will allow your plants root structure to benefit from the added nutrients along with moisture and air retention.
