At Ground FX Landworks Inc., we are pleased to introduce our Aerobic Bio-Compost, a 100% natural product that remarkably improves soil structure, porosity, water retention & aeration capacity.

The decomposition of organic materials by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi under our controlled conditions, results in a rich, dark brown humus/fine mulch like material with superior biological properties. We screen our bio-compost to 5/8” making it fine and easy to work with.

Our bio-compost helps to lighten clay type soils and increase the water retention capacity of sandy soils while increasing soil fertility. It is a great source of slow-release nutrients for your garden.

It can be worked into the soil as a natural amendment or use it as a mulch. In a new garden, work it in at a ratio of 20% in the top 8 – 10” of soil. Our bio-compost helps to lighten clay type soils and increase the water retention capacity of sandy soils while increasing soil fertility. It is a great source of slow-release nutrients for your garden.

For existing gardens, spread our bio-compost in a 2 – 3” thick layer on top of exposed soil. Worms and other living organisms will help the compost meld with the soil. Mulching is not only an easy way to apply our bio-compost, it also keeps down weeds and helps your soil retain moisture. What may have started out as your mulch this year will continue to break down and become your soil amendment for next year.

In our process, the bio-compost heats up naturally to 150-160º F. This heat produced from our process will effectively kill weed seeds as well as harmful pathogens that may be present. Our bio-compost can be used in the garden any time of the year and aids to long term soil fertility.
