Granite Pea Gravel

Pea Gravel consists of small pebbles that are approximately pea-size up to 3/8 inch. They are smooth like river rocks but much smaller. Pea Stone is a washed round gravel that has a mix of grey and tan colours typically used as a decorative addition to landscape designs for walkways, dog runs, and other ground cover applications. Not being jagged and chipped, the pebbles are naturally smoothed. This make pea gravel easier on the eyes as well as easier to touch and walk.

Suggestions for using pea gravel as a ground cover:

• put landscaping fabric under it to prevent weed growth
• install edging or a wall that will keep the pea stone in place
• introduce other decorative or functional elements: flagstone or other paving materials, accent rocks, plant containers, garden furniture or water features
